Golconda hits rich ore body. - Shoot penetrated for six feet on new 1400-foot level, says manager. - The ore body that has persisted through other levels of the Golconda Lead Mines was struck on the 1400-foot level, and, with a round fired at 2 p. m. yesterday, six feet of good ore was revealed in the crosscut, according to William A. Beaudry, managing director, Wallace, Idaho. |
