Sherman lead strikes galena - two to four feet reported in heretofore unknown vein at 1400-foot depth - shares up 11 cents - main sherman vein may be extension of tiger with $20,000,000 record - Ore, in a body two to four feet wide, has been struck in the property of the Sherman Lead company, according to an unofficial report from Wallace, Idaho. The ore is galena and of a high grade, it is stated. As a result of the report, which has reached brokers, the bid was raised 11 cents on the Spokane Stock exchange yesterday, the closing bid of the afternoon session having been 26 as compared with 15 the day before. |
