Find rich ore in Galena Queen |
Description |
Find rich ore in Galena Queen . Kellogg, Idaho, March 30.-(Special.)-Oliver Plumtree and Thomas Williams, well known prospectors of the Big Creek district, have made an important discovery of a strong lead-silver bearing vein on the south fork on the eastern portion of the old Western Star property. Following several months of surface prospecting, the vein was uncovered at various points, disclosing a contact between Revette and St. Regis formations, with a strong iron capping over the lead showing. The mineralized area has a width of 9 to 12 feet and has been traced for upwards of 3000 feet easterly. |
