Description |
50-oz. silver, mineral point . Four feet may run 200-geologist finds shoot lost 30 years. The 30-year search for the Osburn shoot ended in the Mineral Point mine yesterday with the announcement of Jean M. Peters, geologist for the Coeur d'Alene Mines corporation, owner, that the quest appeared to have been profitable. He said the diamond drill had penetrated ore at a depth of 600 feet on the dip and on the same side of the fault as Osburn had found and lost the body that yeilded $200,000 in silver. |
