Ore shoot lost 30 years found |
Description |
Ore shoot lost 30 years found . Deer trail, faulter after $4,000,00o yield, reopened as wide as ever. The great shoot of the Deer Trail district in western Stevens county, which disappeared in a fault after yielding $4,000,000 more than 30 years ago, has been found, according to J.A. Maginnis, a mining man of Spokane. That part of the vein that was mined provided employment for 300 to 400 persons, 700 at its zenith, early in this century. |
