M'Donald mines diamond drilling . Fourteen men at work on exploration to test full ore body. Diamond drilling at the Reeves MacDonald Mine on the Pend Oreille river below Metaline is in progress under the charge of Harold Lakes, engineer and superintendent. Fourteen men are employed, the result of the force having been laid off when the River tunnel reached the Reeves ore body, 3900 feet from the portal and at a depth of 800 feet below the upper workings. |
