Description |
Deposits of tungsten under investigation - expert from the state college, acting for the state, goes over the Bumpting Lake field and is pleased - Tungsten deposits at the property of the Copper Mining company at Bumping Lake have been under investigation by C. W. Warfel, professor of mining and metallurgy of the state college at Pullman. Prof. Warfel returned to Yakima last night after two days spent at the property of the Copper Mining company in company with Reuben Root, its president. He brought out with him numerous samples of the tungsten which he has taken to Pullman. He will report later to the owners. It is altogether probably, also, that a bulletin will be issued later in the season covering the investigations of the properties in this county as well as in other parts of the state. |
