Showing at Independence - galena had in crosscutting of Morning vein extension - Independence Lead Mines company, whose property adjoins that of the Morning mine of the Federal Mining and Smelting company, in the Coeur d'Alenes, and lies on the strike of the big productive vein system of the Morning mine, recently took over the property of the American Commander, which is located between the Independence group of the Gold Hunter. THe latter, it is said, possesses geological conditions associated with its ore bodies similar to the Morning. |
