Retire $11,000,000 bonds. - The Anaconda Copper Mining company will retire August 15 of this year $11,000,000 of its $55,000,000 4.5% sinking fund debentures due October 1, 1950, Ferris & Hardgrove have been advised. This is exactly twice the amount retired August 15, 1936, when $5,500,000 were redeemed, and from a base metal standpoint is indicative of improved metal condition. |
