Description |
Not long to be seen. - Gold flows along in steady strem from its hiding places in Alaska and the Northwest states, most of it making its way to the Seattle Assay Office and thence on into new concealment from the greedy eye of man. So far this fiscal year the local office has assayed $14,250,000 of new gold from Alaska, and nearly $5,000,000 more from mines in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. |
