Tarbox drifts for ore - body believed to be 200 feet ahead on 800 level - A drift on the 800 foot level of the Tarbox mine. Saltese, Mont., lacks 200 feet of ap oint above which ore was developed on teh 600-foot level, according to Richard Daxon, manager, at Wallace, Idaho. Samples from 10 feet of teh vein on the 800 contained 8.2 per cent zinc, 3.7 per cent lead and 2.1 ounces of silver, according to assays. |
