Untold riches in mines untouched |
Description |
Untold riches in mines untouched . Cheap mining facilities, wrought by nature's own hand, ground as solid as the rock of Gibraltar, ample timber and water where required, values in excess of the most favored camps in the country and costing less than one-half to produce the ore, with a lower percentage of expenditure for treating it, tell briefly the secret of success in the famous Coeur d'Alene district in northern Idaho, which is part of the Inland Empire, of which Spokane is the industrial, commercial and financial hub. Milliions of dollars' worth of lead, silver, copper and gold have already been taken out of the hills, but investigations show conclusively that the uncovering of the fabulous wealth of the district is yet in its infancy, and that in 1907 and the coming years a wave of prosperity such as has no parallel in the history of mining in the northwest, will sweep this district, bringing with it millions of eastern, middle western and southern capital as the key to wrest from the earth the vast treasures of wealth, so much in evidence and so easy of access. |
