Mineral Point shoot struck - crosscut at 600-foot depth ends 35-year hunt for silver fortune - Ore was struck yesterday by a crosscut from the No. 3 1/2 tunnel level of the Mineral Point mine, near Kellogg, Idaho, according to a report from R. W. Nuzum, president, received at his office here. It had not been penetrated far enough to determine its width, but it was understood that the crosscut would proceed. |
