Description |
American Eagle exploring . Two other Republic mines ship from lower levels. Exploration is in progress on the 400-foot level of the American Eagle mine at Republic, Ferry county, according to a report from the district. The objective is one of the several gold-bearing ledges that traverse the hill in other properties that are or have been responsive. The work is being directed by George S. Bailey, mining engineer, who is recovering from a severe illness. |
