3000-foot run in Atlas mine |
Description |
3000-foot run in Atlas mine . Authorized by stockholders--may find ore at any time, says Hershey. An exploratory operation of large extent was authorized by the stockholders of the Atlas Mining company at a recent meeting in Mullan, Idaho, near which the property is situated. It will consist of 3000 to 4000 feet of drifting that will begin at the Atlas tunnel and proceed eastward to a point below the ore developed by the Old Carbonate hill workings. The work will be done on the recommendation of Oscar H. Hershey, geologist, a copy of whose report and geological map will be mailed to all stockholders with the annual report. |
