Deepen shaft in Metropolitan Stared on 400 and directed toward junction of two explored veins. The new shaft of the Metropolitan Mines corporation, on Big creek, near Sunshine, had attained a depth of nine feet last Sunday, according to M. T. Miller, a director, Spokane. Its collar is at the 400-foot level of the first shaft and remote from that shaft. The first shaft inclines. The one being started is perpendicular. |
