Believe tunnel now near ore |
Description |
Believe tunnel now near ore - Spokane stockholders of the Metropolitan Mines company who recently visited teh property on Big creek, east of Kellogg, believe the drift is approacing ore. The drift has been extended east from the crosscut about 700 feet and stringers of quartz have been continuous except for a short distance where cut by a fault. The stringers carry lead and gray copper. These still are in the face and the latest samples in possession of Matt Baumgartner, manager, show an increase in the lead. |
