Explore ore body - A stringer of ore an inch wide, that assays from 100 to 540 ounces in silver, sill be explored by three Spokane men, Archie Gilbert, W. H. Schermerhorn and John E. Lee, who have taken a lease and option on it. The property formerly was known as hte Silver Crest and lies four miles from Aladdin, in northern Stevens county. In the spring the three men will have the property developed and will put in machinery. One old tunnel is about 125 feet, and a shaft is down 40 feet. There is a shorter tunnel into the property on the other side of the mountain. |
