$1085 in gold off small spot |
Description |
$1085 in gold off small spot Deep salmon channel yields nuggets--panners, near by, get colors only Three men who, for years, have been defeated in a search for good gold property, appeared to have found something that exceeds their expectations, according to mining men. They are J. W. Eline, president of the Channel Gold corporation; C. W. Brockman, vice president, Spokane, and L. C. Van Patten, secretary-treasurer, Cheney. In support of what they believe to be a strike of large prospective importance they brought yesterday to the office of J. W. Turner, 509 Hutton building, enough coarse gold to cover the bottom of a hat turned upside down. |
