Pend Oreille to build big . 2000-ton concentrator and electrolytic zinc plant and refinery. Ready September, 1930. Will serve all of its mines and Reeves Macdonald, says President Larsen . Vancouver, B. C., April 3.-Operating profits of $3,000,000 yearly are expected from operations at half capacity of a great zinc-lead concentrating plant, an electrolytic zinc plant, smelter and refinery to be erected near Metaline Falls by the Pend Oreille Mines and Metals company, prospective successor of the Pend Oreille Lead and Zinc company, according to an announcement by Louis P. Larsen. |
