Sunshine mine, greatest silver producer in country, enlarges capacity of big plant - This new picture of the Sunshine mine on Big Creek in eh Coeur d'Alenes shows the buildings of the greatest silver producing mine in the United States. The company is now enlarging the capacity of its big mill, shown in the center. The gallows on the right, higher than the picture, is the head frame of the new four-compartment shaft that will enable the company to greatly increase the ore tonnage per day. |
