Description |
A mother, who lost her son in the war as a result of an airplane accident, has provided for a fund to be given as a prize to the inventor of a parachute to be used for escape from falling planes. Mrs. Louis Bennett of Weston, W. Va., is the donor of the fund, which has been accepted by the Aero Club of America, which has named a committee to organize the competition. Lieutenant Louis Bennett, the son, lost his life while flying for the British air service. |
