W. G. Wilson, chief electrician, U. S. N., arrived form Seattle, last week, and is in charge of the naval recruiting office, opened at Anacortes, Thursday. The office located in the Empire block, corner of Fifth and Commercial, the use of the rooms having been donated by W. V. Wells and G. A. Joiner. Charles Voitus supplied the necessary furniture and the business of enlisting of young men for service in the navy is in full swing. |
