LEWISTON, Idaho, June 7.
—(Special.)—The Women's
Community club of Lewiston
Orchards has passed a resolution condemning the placing of
signs along the highways and
especially the paved highway
through the orchards. They
will ask the cooperation of
state women's clubs in eliminating the sign nuisance from
highways.
The club has been instrumental for
many years in keeping local merchants from placing signs along the
Orchard highway, but recently outside firms have exercised the privilege.
