MRS. LILLARD CHOSEN
FOR NEW HEALTH POST
Mrs. Edgar Lillard has received
word of her appointment as vice
commander of the Idaho division, women's field army, American Society
for the Control of Cancer, by Mrs.
R. S. Stringfellow, Boise, state commander. Mrs. Lillard will have charge
of organization work in the 10 northern counties and be in charge of an
enlistment campaign which will take
place March 21 to 27. She was indorsed for the appointment by Mrs.
Roland Hodgins of Moscow, president
of the Idaho Federation of Women's
Clubs, which has sponsored the campaign of education for the reduction
of cancer mortality.
Mrs. R. E. Manning of Pocatello
is vice commander of the first district, which has already started organization work, and Mrs. Frank J.
Johnesse of Boise is vice commander
of the second district. The three vice
commanders will name captains in
each county to assist with the campaign.
