Direct campaign to keep Spokane in choice position |
Description |
Direct campaign to keep Spokane in choice position. - To keep Spokane on the "spot--the white spot of the business map--is the task the Chamber of Commerce has dedicated itself to for 1935, says J. I. Kinman, president of the chamber. Mr. Kinman, at the right, is conducting a private lesson in 'keeping it white' with Harry T. Anthony, general of division A for the chamber's sustaining fund campaign. At least $35,000 must be raised in the sustaining fund campaign toward the $75,250 budget if the chamber is to push forward for Spokane this year, Mr. Kinman asserts. The rest of the money will be raised through memberships, it is anticipated. |
