4 Missing Aboard Alaska Plane
DAWSON, Y. T., Aug. 21.—(Universal Service)—With all of Alaska still shrouded by the plane crash of Will Rogers and Wiley Post,- another multiple air tragedy of the frozen North was feared today when a plane that took off from Dawson for Fairbanks, Alaska, forty-eight hours ago, was reported The ship, containing three passengers and the pilot, was last seen as it passed over' Shipping Creek, in the Klondike region. Aboard Passengers: Mr. and Mrs. John F. Lonzo and Alton Nordale. Pilot, Arthur F. Hines, well known flyer from Fairbanks.
The plane was feared to have been forced down by bad weather somewhere in the Tanana Valley— the region where gold seekers once
plumbed for the riches of the Klondike.
