To Aid Exhibit
SALEM, March 11 (Special)—
Governor Charles H. Martin today
appointed a committee of seven
Oregon citizens to invite artists of
this state to exhibit in the second
national exhibtion of American art,
which will open in New York city
June 16.
The committee personnel includes:
Mrs. F. R. Hunter, chairman,
president Oregon chapter of American Artists* Professional league,
Portland; Frederick A. Sweet, director Portland art museum; Professor A. M. Vincent, University of
Oregon art department, Eugene;
Professor J. Leo Fairbanks, Oregon
State college, Corvallis; Pietro Bal-|
luschi, Pacific building, Portland;
Mrs. Henry L. Corbett, Portland.
