Spokane Man Is Again
Named to Manage Ath-
letics in Northwest.
Harry S. Burdick of Spokane was
reelected president of the Pacific
Northwest association at the annual
meeting of that body held Sunday
in Victoria. 13. E.J. Ferris of Spokane
was elected to a place on the board
of governors of the P. N. A. at the
name meeting.
The announcement of the election
was made this morning upon the return of the Spokane delegation from
the Victoria meeting. H. McAlpin
of Portland was elected vice president of the P. N. A. at the annual
meeting and T. Morris Dunne of
Portland was chosen secretary-
treasurer to succeed himself.
A. G. Wakeman of Portland was
selected to act as head of the regis-
tration committee for the year. The
board of governors elected at the
meeting follows: E. J. Ferris. Spo-
kane; Harry S. Burdick, Spokane;
Harry Boyd, Victoria; W. H. Davies, ;
Victoria; M. D. Wells, Seattle; E. E.
Fry, Seattle; Earl Goodwin, Portland; A. D. Wakeman, Portland; T.
Morris Dunne, Portland, and A. McAlpin, Portland.
Award Tournaments.
The annual championship tournaments were awarded as follows:
Basket ball, Seattle: swimming and
diving, Victoria; water polo, Portland; boxing, Victoria,
According to the Spokane delegation, the Victoria meeting was one
of the best attended and most successful that has been held by the P.
N. A. in many years. The place for
holding the 1921 meeting was not decided upon, but will be fixed next
summer by President Burdick.
