Nine on Straight-A List First Semester
Registrar's Office Reveals That Only
One Out of Three Hundred
Scored Top Grades.
Only nine students at the University
of Idaho, or approximately one to every
300, made "straight A" grade averages
during the first semester.
All "A" grades for a maximum study
load of 15 credits are required for inclusion in the "straight A" category. The
first-semester list, as compiled by the
registrar's office, follows:
Kent McQueen, Preston, junior, 20
credits; Lewis Orland, Moscow, senior,
19 credits; Eugene E. Graham, junior,
Payette, 19 credits; Susanna Black, Boise,
sophomore, 17 credits; Delsa Crowley,
Idaho Palls, senior, 16 credits plus 1 graded "passing;" Arval L. Erikson, Rexburg,
senior, 16; Helen M. Wallen, Bonners
Ferry, junior, 16; Russell Wood, Weiser,
sophomore, 16; and Doris McDermott,
Wallace, senior, 15.
