Alaska Game Unit Promotes Rhode
Clarence Rhode, former employee of the Washington state game department, recently was named assistant executive officer
of the Alaska game commission, according to a letter received today by William Langbehn. After leaving the Washington
state game department about three years ago, Rhode took a position with the United States forestry service in Alaska. As a
result of his written treatise on game management, Rhode was asked to transfer his activities to the Alaska game department. In
six months he was elevated to deputy game warden, and later to lis present post.
