Eight Die Of Influenza: Condition Of Several Patients Critical: Two Great Northern Trainmen Succumb at Hillyard- Soldier Is Victim.
Influenza claimed eight victims in Spokane and Hillyard yesterday. Several patients were reported to be in a critical condition at different hospitals.
W. L. Oliver, age 32, died at his home, 306 Deamond avenue, Hillyard. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Hillyard branch of the New England company. Mr. Oliver was a Great Northern fireman. He is survived by his widow and five small children, all of whom are recovering from influenza.
