Influenza reports received yesterday at the city health office showed considerable improvement over the same day last week. The ratio of new pneumonia cases continued the same as a week ago. The emergency influenza hospital had its busiest day for a week yesterday, admitting 11 patients and discharging three. One death occurred. Among those received were a man and wife and their two children. Four of the nurses at the hospital were taken ill with influenza yesterday, causing a shortage of help.
