Twelve victims of the influenza epidemic were reported yesterday in Spokane. Mrs. Evelyn Meeks, age 32, wife of F. G. Meeks, president of the Cascade Laundry Company, died suddenly at her home, 2016 Second avenue. She had been a resident of Spokane for 25 years and was a prominent worker in the First Presbyterian church. She is survived by her husband, a son, Harry, age 16, and a daughter, Bernadine, age 14, also her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Brown; a brother, Stanley L. Brown, and a sister, Mrs. R. M. MacLean. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. from Smith & Co.'s the Rev. Sherman L. Divine officiating.
