Chiropractors Select Coeur
d'Alene Man—Yellowstone
for Next Year.
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Aug.
9.—Dr. M. I. Higgens, Coeur
d'Alene, was elected president of
the Idaho State Chiropractors' association for the ensuing year at a
business meeting today, which was
followed by adjournment of the
three-day convention.
Dr. H. G. West, Pocatello, was
elected vice president; Dr. J. L.
Harrison, Wallace, secretary; Dr.
M. D. Anthony, Boise, treasurer;
Dr. E. J. Call, Moscow, chairman
of the board of directors.
The convention next year will be
held in Yellowstone park, it was
decided. An attempt will be made
to make it a tri-state affair, with
Wyoming and Montana joining in.
Chiropractors from eastern Washington will be invited to attend.
At this morning's session, Dr. R.
B. Lundy, Wallace, gave a talk on
vitamin therapy; the Rev. Mr.
Huggins, Wallace, spoke on fellowship, and Dr. West, body posture
and neurology. At an extra meeting last night, Dr. E. H. Minns, Seattle, and Dr. A. C. Johnson, Los
Angeles, gave professional talks. Dr.
West, who is state director of the
National Association of Chiropractors, reported on the national convention held at Grand Rapids,
Mich., last month.
The chiropractors and their
wives were taken for a cruise on
the lake this afternoon.
