Nez Perce Indian leaders sign suit contract. - This committee of Nez Perce Indians appeared before District Judge Miles S. Johnson at Lewiston, Idaho, and signed a renewal of their agreement with F. M. Goodman, attorney at Washington, D. C., to represent them in their $3,000,000 suit, which is now on the docket of the United States court of appeals. Goodwin was the first assistant secretary of the interior under President Calvin Coolidge. |
