Description |
Indians substitute for horses on long trek. - Members of the Will Price family, part Indian, took up the load when their four horses died at Provo, Utah, during a trek homeward to Idaho Falls, Idaho, from a dust-ravaged Kansas farm. It took them 11 months to pull their heavy wagon the long journey. They are en route to Montana to start farming again. Shown here with the wagon, left to right: George Price, 30; Price ; Mrs. Price, 49, and Charles Price, 17. |
