Description
This is a photograph of Hisako Takeda holding her son , Terry Takeda , outside a barrack at the Heart Mountain Relocation Center , Wyoming . There is snow on the ground , and Hisako Takeda is facing her son , smiling , while Terry Takeda faces the camera and smiles . Shiro Takeda left camp in February 1943 to teach Japanese for the Navy Language School . Terry soon followed in July of that year .
