Description
Matsura stands (with his camera ready) in the shade of his photography shop located on First Avenue . Local townswomen prepare a boy , his dog , and his wagon for entry into the Fourth of July Parade in Okanogan , 1910 . The float promoted the Schaller Bakery and included festive red , white , and blue ribbons as well as a selection of the bakery's breads . Schaller's Bakery opened in October of 1909 , and was located in the "Schaller Block ", a three story brick building taking up the northeast corner of Second Avenue and P (later Pine) Street . The Commercial Bank was also located in the Block .

Original photographic prints were scanned as 300 dpi TIFF files on a Microtek 9600XL scanner. 72 dpi JPEG files were then added to the CONTENT database at the WSU Libraries.
