Description
The Storhow family sit for a portrait at Matsura's studio . In 1911 , H.T . Storhow was hired by the Boston and Washington Apple Orchard Association to watch over the companies horses . He also took ownership that year of Owen's Okanogan Stables . The two young women in the photo are Dora Storhow (far left , standing) and Emma Storhow (far right , standing) . The two sisters played together on the 1911 Okanogan High School Girl's Basketball Team . Emma Storhow also taught one year at Tonasket , Washington . Their brother Andrew Storhow stands between them. He played on the 1909 Okanogan Baseball Team , "Sam's Colts ".

Original photographic prints were scanned as 300 dpi TIFF files on a Microtek 9600XL scanner. 72 dpi JPEG files were then added to the CONTENT database at the WSU Libraries.
