Description
Jessie Dillabough , a longtime friend of Matsura's from the days when he worked at her parent's Elliot Hotel , stands at the back of the wagon parked on Second Avenue . In the background is a sign for the South Half Land Co. , a real estate company owned at the time by George Pratt , John W . Forsyth , and A. M . Storch (later M . M . Foote joined the company and worked with clients in the Wenatchee area) . The next building housed the Okanogan Water User's Association , a group of farmers with interests in the development of irrigated lands . The brick building in the far corner is the Dad Harris Saloon .
