Description
Two Indians on horseback stop to pose for a picture near T Street . In the background you can see the Bureau Hotel , still in construction and owned by Captain Charles Bureau . To the left is another group of men on horses . They are stopped underneath the Elgin , Nelson & Co . Department Store sign . Grant Elgin , Mrs . Elgin and Sam T . Nelson were the principal owners of the store . The caption on the postcard reads "Okanogan Indians ".
