Description
The outside of the Okanogan Auditorium , built in 1910 . The building lay on line with First Avenue , in the far southern direction of town . Constructed with the funds of a joint stock company of Okanogan citizens , the Auditorium was used for plays , basketball games , meetings , speeches , and dances . Armstrong and McCampbell (local interior decorators , painters , and morticians) painted the 66 x 90 auditorium . Inside was a stage , a large wooden floor with smaller side aisles , a wall to wall balcony , and dressing rooms .

Original photographic prints were scanned as 300 dpi TIFF files on a Microtek 9600XL scanner. 72 dpi JPEG files were then added to the CONTENT database at the WSU Libraries.
