Description
A double wagonload of hay is parked outside of the Hotel Oxford on Second Avenue , Okanogan . Before new owner , George Hopkins , changed its name in January 1910 , the hotel was known as Central Hotel . Interior decorators/morticians , Armstrong and McCampbell , painted the building and sign . To the left of the hotel is "Platt's Place ", a father and son confectionery and cigar business run by James Gard and his son , Platt .
