Description
Mr . Harry Stark poses in front of a bloodied backdrop as he stands in between his bag of two deer strung up on a wooden plank . Mr . Stark was a longtime upstanding citizen of Okanogan , owning a confectionery and news depot in town , and employed by the city as treasurer , clerk , water superintendent , and marshal throughout his years there. In 1912 , Mr . Stark left Okanogan for a time , to become the elected County Sheriff . The rifle seen here is unusually rare , a Standard Arms Model G gas operated self-loading rifle .
