Description
In March 1910 , the Provo brothers of Brewster purchased the Okanogan/Riverside stage line from Griggs-Bassett Co . They carried passengers and mail . By July , the Brothers included another passenger line from Okanogan to Brewster . The Pioneer Realty Co. , owned by the Duley brothers , can be seen behind the stagecoaches . The building to its right with the striped awning was a confectionery store known as "Platt's Place " and later the "Idle Hour Confectionery ". It was owned by James Gard and his son , Platt .

Original photographic prints were scanned as 300 dpi TIFF files on a Microtek 9600XL scanner. 72 dpi JPEG files were then added to the CONTENT database at the WSU Libraries.
