Description
Scotch Creek Basin , near Riverside , Washington , was to be the site of the Okanogan Electric Railway Company's starting point for a spur line to Conconully . The line would also run to the northern edge of Pogue Prairie to Robinson Flat (area of some of the oldest orchards) and around Shell Rock Point (visible to the north of Okanogan) . Unfortunately , little besides big plans ever came of the Okanogan Electric Railway . The large rock in the photo is Burnett Bluff . A group of men and women--both on horseback and in wagons--appear miniscule at the Bluff's bottom .
