Matsura visited the town of Omak in October , 1910 . Six miles or so from Okanogan , it too was incorporated in 1907 . The sign on the lefthand side says : "Delmonicos--Restaurant and Bakery ". In a July , 1910 issue of the Okanogan Independent , Okanogan's local newspaper , an article reported that JD Williams had opened a restaurant in the Bureau Hotel , Okanogan , by the same name . Whether this was a location misprint , or if there were two Delmonico Restaurants at the time is unknown .
