All of the apple trees survived their first season , and only four peach trees died . Mr . Murray planted mostly the Delicious variety , but also some Winesap , Jonathan and Winter Banana . Some of the rows were filled in with Elberta peaches . In the background is one of the first local nurseries in the area , that of the Murray Brothers , Joe and Sarsfield .
