Description
A postcard vista of the Conconully Dam , with Peacock Mountain directly above . A few men work on the embankment slope while others stand atop the dam's core . Work is mostly completed at the dam site . The Operation and Maintenance phase , the last of four phases in any dam's construction , began at Conconully in November 1908 . Chief Engineer of the Construction Phase , Christian Andersen , relocated to another assignment for the U.S . Reclamation Service . Engineer Bonstadt replaced him at this time as Operations Manager .
